I watched it on the plane as it was the only decent movie to choose from on Air Canada which is funny because it was a Dutch film with subtitles....and not Canadian. Anyway, this film is thought provoking in that it makes you question whether worldly pleasures such as a fine meal might be a deadly sin. Although it might seem slow, the characters and atmosphere drew me in from the beginning and had me in tears of joy in the end
