After growing up with the original and the second movie I watched the 3rd movie "Agterlife" with hope, it was pretty good with lots of nostalgia and a sweet story. I was hopeful the 4th movie Frozen Empire would be good too. I found it to be poorly written, pandering to the latest political agendas, and shallow. It seems to be written for children but has cliche adult themes and is just not well put together. I was sorely disappointed. It was $19.99 to rent and $24.99 to buy on Prime so I bought it and regret it. If I could return it I would. * poorly written * pandering to current political agendas * not very well acted * boring at times * clearly written for children The Ghostbusters franchise is dead to me now. I will stick with the original and to some degree the second and 3rd films every once in a while. Without Ivan and Harold and with the current talentless pandering writers I have no interest in anything else they produce.
