The BBC’s Newshite programme came across as a slimy place to work with journalists (ha) with very little moral compass. I did like Ruth Wilson’s interpretation of Emily Maitlis, she had just the right amount of sneering to depict the real Emily. The amount of accuracy must be only the actual interview and the background talks within the Newsnight office, everything else is 100% made up, with the exception of what happened with the courts and Andrew’s payoff to VD.
