Excellent. A gay film actually about love and how it might even be possible for some of the hard core "gay scene" stereotypes to fall for the one. The only sad thing for me is that it sometimes appears for many/most people, they seem unable to see/feel it when it is right in front of them. I loved the innocent country boy portrayed in this film, and I know his character is real: he is just like the boy I met and fell in love with over 40 years ago (yep, initially, I was the "dud", blind, but felt kinda intoxicated without knowing why, I thought I just wanted sex) and our love has only deepened, I know we will be together forever because one eternity is not enough.
This film spoke to me, I experienced it as very real (although the comedic sections and characters were a bit strange, I didn't get the need for "comic relief" and they seemed rather silly people), I applaud the writer, film-maker, cast and crew for this experience, and I am sure I will not be the only one who felt the impact of this story. I missed this in 2004, but would never have dreamed it possible in 1984! Life is wonderful!!!
