It surprises me how movies with violence, negativity, malice get much more appreciation without a second thought in the name of creativity, but light hearted entertainment movies like this are averaging at 6.3. We as a society wouldn’t be harmed by reconsideration of our priorities when it comes to entertainment.
Well that’s just the context about why I’m giving this a 5 star instead of a 4 if looked at purely based on merit.
Now to the movie- Full time of entertainment with a few lower tones during some parts of the movie. The storyline is interesting- which had a lot of room for exploring new emotions. The humour is mediocre and not very in the face but quite good to enjoy the moment and move on the next. The characterisation is on point but I felt the direction was a bit slippery at times, there could be much better ways to present the point. And then the acting- more than the actors I felt the writing and directions vision is a hit and miss
