Very laboured. It's an interesting story based on Greene's novel (which draws on his own experience of Haiti) but unconvincing when handled by such a poor director.

Very clunky, amateurish and poorly directed. In the first episode following the tsunami everyone for some unknown reason begins to walk very slowly and, even though the earthquake has ended, many of them fall over while walking oddly slowly away from the nuclear plant. It all becames weirdly funny, rather like a parody of a disaster movie. At one point I wondered if in fact it is a comedy and someone at Netflix didn't quite get it. The only thing impressive about it is the CGI. The imagary is obviously computer generated. That, along with the poor direction, and terrible acting make the whole thing look like a computer game. The chernobyl series was a contrasting masterpiece.

Lamentably lacklustre. There wasn't even a good fire to heat up a lukewarm movie. Not one of the relationships is psychologically convincing.
