I was not disappointed with this remake. Great foreboding score, dark and gloomy cinematography, and a capable cast. Plenty of jump scares got me but also plenty of tense and dread in the mix. Some holes in the storyline like why bury the cat there if you don't know what's gonna happen etc. 3 1/2 stars.
