I honestly enjoyed the movie. It has bad reviews but I don’t think it was bad at all. It has a positive theme. It’s about living in the present and having gratitude while living in your truth. I’m glad the movie ended the way it did too! Usually, they write the movie with a sad ending as a consequence of something good happening to the main characters.

Tears of joy watching this movie! I’m grateful their story got to be told! I enjoyed the movie and Kerry did great! Black girl magic ! Black women are strong and resilient. Seeing our history , our ancestors being celebrated and honored is a beautiful thing!

Very funny show! Watched it growing up and now I’m rewatching it. It was way ahead of its time. Very glad that it’s available to watch on stream. I had the DVD version when it came out in the early 2000’s.

Very good movie. Excellent actors and written well. It’s complicated and delicate to discuss the topics they hit on. They put it in a relatable and engaging story that tells the truth of a young black man’s life. It’s creative making it easily digestible by centering it around college students and I can understand why it is a hit movie for multiple generations ( millennials, X, Z etc). Great movie to watch and a great introduction to have a discussion with your children or parents about the real life issues that effects us.

Love this movie. It’s a classic and I have watched it numerous times. Very informative and entertaining.

I really enjoyed watching this movie! I’m a lover of the original as well. Interesting that this movie is exactly the same as the original cartoon one but the only difference is a real life Black Woman playing a fictional character. I loved it and I’m a human doing this review who saw the original as a child. There is nothing different from the original besides whom is playing the fictional cartoon character.

I’m watching the series again on Netflix. So many memories! Such a great show but we definitely need a conclusion to the series! They cancelled it unfairly and left us begging for the ending for yearssss and still in 2024 😫

Such a good movie. What an emotional movie , in a good way! It definitely opens your eyes to the conversations you need to have when raising a family. Really enjoyed the movie and the cinematography was excellent too.

Such a good show! I hope Netflix approves another season!
