This movie wasn’t very good in my opinion. I love most of Wes Andersons films, but this was not one of them. So many famous people and yet it was horribly underwhelming, Tom hanks sucked. Tilda didn’t even need to be there. Could have gotten rid of half the actors and I wouldn’t have noticed. Needed more alien moments. I could have cared less about the window to window romance between Jason and Scarlett. All the characters seemed wrong for the actors who played them. I found myself bored at every turn and every dialogue, and I was heavily medicated on multiple edibles… so usually anything is entertaining after that. Wilhem Defoe was the only good character, I wanted more of him. I was very little invested in the characters and anything they did. I kept asking myself “is there something I’m supposed to be getting?” I found myself looking for a meaning to it all… like “is this all some satire on the united states obsession with space exploration post WWII?” Please Mr. Anderson!!!! I need closure to this
