The very first question I would like to ask the critics is: what were you smoking when you watched and reviewed this movie?
Granted, it was long, longer than any MCU movie I have watched. But the minutes passed away like seconds for me.
The character development, the plot twist, the past and the present, the breathtaking visuals, and the action sequences are the various strengths. Also, the movie is genuinely funny and can get serious laughs out of you. The plot and the stories completely justify the 2hr30min run of the movie and the director has done a beautiful job in portraying the characters' humanity and convincing us of the reasons of why they did things, why they differed in opinions in dire situations, how they too had flaws like the people they had sworn to protect. Even these gods were flawed.
In the end, it's not the best MCU movie out there, but for me, it's quite near the top. To have 10 main characters in a movie, and to give them their own personalities and strengths and flaws and beliefs was a difficult job to start with, but Chloé Zhao did it brilliantly.
