I love history and being Maltese, we have a huge historical event referred to in history books as The Great Siege when the Ottoman empire attacked Malta, unsuccessfully. However, this series gives an insight to islam which perhaps few people know. The show is great, excellent photography, and the acting is brilliant. Only negative comment is the bad translation into English subtitles. It looks like they used Google translate. It's also frustrating that at times, there are no subtitles. All in all an amazing production with just a tad of religious overdose.
