I don't know which is worse - this movie or the 5 star ratings it is getting here! As a longtime MCU fan, Thor: Love and Thunder seems to have been made for non-MCU folks. Ask any MCU fan, and their reaction is not much different from mine - disappointed! The character of Thor has been reduced to a joke with Chris Hemsworth oscillating between brawn and bard. Natalie Portman, just there there to add to the cringeworthy moments with her character swinging between dying scientist, lovelorn woman and a Thor that weakens during battle! And what's with the mighty Zeus having an accent and lifting his skirts walking down the stairs! At that point in the movies, it felt like The Scary Movie franchise had been revived with an MCU spoof! Although Christian Bale's character is the only saving grace in the movies, in the end, that too succumbed to poor script writing and direction. Writing this with great disappointment and irritation that the fact that I wasted my time and u...forget it. I'm done.
