**Spoilers** The visuals are great but the plot is a disappointment. I had high expectations for this sequel, maybe too high. Jake, a previous hero, is now too afraid to make waves in the new village. There are scenes where they use sign language to communicate with an underwater animal and with very little response they seam to reply (their replies shown in caps) is this telepathic? If so,why is sign language needed to begin with. They wanted to use 2 of the characters that died in the first film and had them play altered versions of themselves-ok, I’m still trying to follow along here. All in all, there was nothing in the story that moved me and I’m just sad that this is where the story went. I would have liked to see a richer character development, an engaging plot and a story that didn’t feel like it was thrown together just for the sake of making a movie.
