I loved this movie. I thought it was great! I don't understand all the low reviews. There's no stupidity or lack of explanation. Actually, Travis is the most sensible man in a horror movie I have ever met. This man only acted with the utmost of common sense. I feel like people who did not like this movie are people who prefer straightforward movies. This movie is for people who enjoy psychology and the truth of human morality and patterns. (It is very Christian inspired though--but it's not too much where it ruins the movie if you have an aversion to Christian themes)

GREAT MOVIE!! I never leave reviews for anything, but I have to because this was such a great movie. It’s honestly infuriating reading the comments and hearing the complaints. This is not a movie for simple people. I don’t mean that as an insult either, but it’s deep. the main thing people are complaining about is the lack of character development. This was the most genius part of the film. The director perfectly wrote a six year old mind turning into a 50 year old’s in less than a day. The main characters of the personality were there but so was the juxtaposition of a six year old brain rapidly developing and trying to cope with that. Everything was beautifully done. The twist came right when you thought you knew everything. While some complaints are the lack of attention to death scenes are fair the other stuff is so deep that if you aren’t a person that enjoys deep movie you would find this weird and confusing.
