Being a kid raised on this book. Going through the stages of my personal development. I think it's important to look at its facts. It details human biology and growth. And everything in between. It also teaches what to expect, how to accept bodily changes. How to use them properly. I don't feel this book has changed my outlook on my perceptions with the problems people are having today with it. I've had wonderful relationships and not so healthy ones either but isnt that just part of the human experience?. I just think that it's a generational door being opened and closed topic that it's to Taboo to talk about. No parent seems to be prepared to have "the talk" about the birds and the bees because they themselves weren't educated properly either. It must be very uncomfortable without the right tools. There is no right way to illustrate or detail what's going to happen with one's body. but who to ask..at least the author took a bold move and described what we are all afraid to talk about.
