This book was so horrifically terrible that at some point is was no longer funny how flawed the book was. For the book being about the sport of soccer there is almost nothing at all about the topic. This book made me lose the passion and my drive for the sport in its entirety. I will repeat. This book was so bad it made me stop doing the only thing that had made me happy in life. 350 pages of my life wasted, time that could’ve been well spent in others areas of my life; if it weren’t for my teacher having assigned the book for me to read and not finding a thorough enough summary online, my life could’ve been saved.
A tree was cut down for the purpose of creating this mockery of a scripture, a perfectly good tree that could’ve provided oxygen to the human population. How did a editor let this get the thumbs up to be published? Then a publisher had to allow for this book to be printed to the public. Poor children will have to read this book as is assigned by their teachers, might as well let them be illiterate, better to save their intelligence in other areas of life. The there is its carbon-cut copy the crossover, which is equal in its quality (or lack thereof).
I would like to leave this review for parents to take away something for when they decide to buy this for their children: if you come here for soccer leave. If you come for a fun story, leave.
