I DEVOURED the first two books, I fell in love with Sera and Nyktos and they were my favourite characters in the whole universe just to tell you, I was DEVOTED tho them….. then this book happened. Although is not bad, I could not feel the same connection with the characters than with the firsts two books, I feel like characters regressed in mental age.I liked Nyktos and Sera because they were so mature and smart and overall level headed. I felt this book was some shadow of Cas and Poppy, I’d go as far as to say that my favourite line of the book was : Shut the fw0rd Sera! . I really don’t know what happened here, the magic just dissipated, enough for me to say that it almost feels like a breakup!. Still a really good book but it’s a solid 3 or 3.5, whereas the two first were solid 5 starts. I don’t even see the need for a fourth book, everything could’ve been perfectly wrapped up here! I don’t even know if continue the series, characters seem to get dumber and more arrogant by the book. Please pleaseeeee JLA if you read this just wrap up the series and publish companion books if needed but this series it’s getting too long!
