Well written and some memorable characters but, the self involved,unaware, totally selfish behaviour of Celestine and Andre ruined the book for me. Celestine tells Andre what a hideous experience goal was for her husband and his response is “that has nothing to do with us” !

I read constantly and frequently skip paragraphs and sometimes pages, not with this book! An intelligently written captivating read and a lovely example of the less judgemental approach that comes with experience and wisdom. Thank you Richard.
