This was the worst movie I’ve ever seen. A movie about a chef, with no spotlight on food, a rom com that is neither rom nor com. Not dramatic, not suspenseful or engaging, not relatable and lacking substance. Bro the whole car chase took place in first gear, which is suitable only because it mirrors the fact this this entire crapshoot film was also never able to get the story out of a dragging, clutch riding, constantly stalling, first gear. Had this been the “assignment” I would not have turned it in out of respect for my viewers, sheer frustration in myself and my talent, in an attempt to hide the poor choices made along the way.
