It's a typical cliche teen drama in which the female MC is an unpopular nerd and the MC is a popular jock. SPOILER Love Becca and Brett but I am so angry at Brett for not apologizing to Parker. First of all, Brett punching Parker without knowing what was happening was a big red flag. The fact that he didn't even apologize to him pissed me off so much. Apart from that, I love this book and many of their romantic interactions gave me massive butterflies.

SPOILERS WARNING : Disturbing stuff ahead Why I think the Manuscript is real ●First of all, who writes about such horrific things being done to their daughters with their own hands. Antagonistic journaling or whatever, I dont think any sane human would write something like this about their children. She is messed up fr even if the manuscript is made up. ●Maybe at some disturbing level, I understand a bit that writing Harper's death as if its done by the story villain instead of an accident caused by her carelessness was some kind of a coping mechanism for Verity. But that doesn't explain why she had to write about her choking her 6 months old toddler. Which makes it sure that yes she did had some kind of resentment towards Harper. ●Why only the daughters? Why not Jeremy. Why wasn't there any hate towards Jeremy in the book? Why not even Crew? Coz he is a male? The daughters were females who built their territory around Jeremy. Verity starting to care for one of the twins FOR Jeremy. There were many scenes where she says that she wished to be a normal mother who loved their daughter COZ JEREMY WANTED THAT. She knew that Jeremy was picking up her resentment towards his daughters. So she wanted to change that but wasn't abt to grow feelings for Harper coz Jeremy had a special place for Harper in his heart as she was on the autistic spectrum & Verity knew that. ●Lowen had to skip a lot of paras coz of the n number of s*x scenes between Verity and Jeremy. ●Why didnt she reach out to her editor to explain things after Jeremy found out about the Manuscript? ●What about the knife? Maybe to protect herself from Jeremy if he attempts to kill her? Why was Crew given assistance to the knife? ●Jeremy was angry at Lowen when he saw her holding a knife above Verity and he dismissed her and told her to never come back. ●Seriously, there is no REAL evidence to say that the letter is real except the letter itself. ----- Sus things ●Jeremy read that whole Manuscript pretty fast. Or maybe he just read the last one as Lowen does say to him to read at least the last one. ●The pictures of the twins under Verity's bed. Now this one you can't say that it was out of love and that she misses them. Maybe its some kind of messed up way to remind her of what she had done to keep Jeremy for herself. ●SOME PART OF THE LETTER is true coz if you think about it, the Manuscript ends with her saying that she gonna get into a car accident so that Jeremy wouldn't send her to the police. So we dont know what happened after she wrote that decision in her Manuscript. BUT, IT'S THERE IN THE LETTER. So its possible that yes the whole Manuscript is true but some part of the letter is also true where Jeremy comes to know abt the truth and makes her go through an accident. ----- ◆Apart from the fact that all the characters are messed up in this book at diff levels but still... If the Manuscript is real, Jeremy is ofc not at fault and if the letter is real, still he is not at fault and also justifies why he cheated on her. I mean what do you expect from a dad/ parent. ◆Crew had gone through a lot. The scene where he hurts his gums with a knife to distract Lowen from asking him further questions about his mom is so disturbing and saddening ◆My heart goes to the two girls. The horrible things they both have gone through when they were young. ◆Verity saw her death coming and wrote this letter so that Lowen and Jeremy couldn't have a peaceful life together. It's as if even when she is dead, she is still haunting them.

Words cant explain how much I love this book. The plot, the characters, everything. This book is so underrated omg. The only thing that I don't like about this book is its cover. The cover doesn't justify this book. The cover gives an-innocent-naive-girl-fixing-her-toxic-manipulative-bf-who-has-daddy-issues kind of vibes. This is a grumpy🌧 sunshine🌞 book with the perfect amount of sunshine and grumpiness. The sunshine in this book is not someone who smiles 24/7. The book itself describes her as a woman who feels 🌼. She cries when she is sad or emotional, she doesn't hold it in her, she lets it consume her, let it go. She gets angry when she should, she scolds the person when she should. She is not dumb, she knows what is wrong and right. ✔ He is grumpy and can be borderline rude sometimes but the book doesn't treat it as something attractive. Sometimes his truthfulness can be taken as rudeness by people. He acts to be nice in front of other people. He changes and tries to express his emotions, his inner love❤ and kindness to the people he loves because life is short and you don't wanna regret anything afterwards. Live the moment without holding any grudges.✨ There is an equal amount of importance for both their stories. Be it Lucy's or Graham's. Both are heartbreaking. Both are not tragedies but something that happens to many people every day, we just don't know. Both of their stories have one thing in common - people leave them behind, alone, all by themselves, breaking their hearts.💔 Even though it's a slow burn romance, both the MCs don't hold into denial. They express when it's the right time and they work hard to make it happen but life gives us quite a hard time to reach that goal, sometimes even making us quit. But life has its ssss of making you reach your goal. Professor Ollie has my whole heart. He is indeed a Sunshine 🌞. This book is so beautiful☺💗 and deserves more recognition.🙌

One of the best books I have ever read. It's different from the other books I have read on Wattpad. The adventure, the writing, the characterization, the slow burn romance, the amount of historical data the author has collected is what makes this book different and more engaging from the other books on Wattpad. I already miss Lillian Linton, Rikkard Ambrose and Karim so much. Can't wait to read the 7th book.

About the book One of the best stories I have read so far. I like how each and every chapter and para was important and had something do with the main plot of the story. I really liked the dialogues. The author wanted us to be in Lily's shoes and go through everything and that's what happened. I love the name of the book. It was a happy ending for me. Lily Lily is such a strong girl, I am so proud of her. Such a well written realistic character. I like how the author made Lily to make Ryle understand that why divorce is better for them. It is not only better for their daughter but also for Ryle as the baby wouldn't be exposed to his anger issues. I have seen many comments which says that Lily should've said him the truth knowing about his anger issues which really brings out the disturbing fact that no matter what, some people always put the blame on the main character. I am sure Lily would've said the truth if Ryle didn't had such anger issues. I even saw a cmt by a Ryle stan which said, "...What Ryle did was not good, but what Lily did was far more worse. She doesn't deserve both Atlas and Ryle. Atlas was true to his love but Lily moved on too fast when she dated someone when she was in college.." something along the lines. Ryle I felt bad for Ryle, I don't hate him. Don't get me wrong, I do hate what he did to Lily but the fact that it was unintentional because of his trauma made it quite difficult to hate him. I was like, why can't he be an a**hole who beats his wife for some sick reason. I hope he gets the help that he needs and end up with someone who loves only him unconditionally. I hope that he fulfills all his dreams. Now, talking about the truth, it's funny how some people are complaining about Lily but nobody is talking about how Ryle didn't tell about the truama and his anger issues to Lily, something that can cost her safety (which happened) before the wedding. He should've said that even before they were thinking of making their relationship serious. Ryle and Lily's relationship I felt that everything in Ryle and Lily's relationship happened too fast and the wedding was definitely a bad decision. For most part of the story, it felt as if it was just lust but I definitely knew that he does love her so much because of course, this is a book. I became invested in their relationship after some time utill the abuse happened. I wish the author showed a lil bit more about their emotional connection instead of just making the characters say how much they love each other or maybe the author just wanted to show that this relationship and moving this fast was indeed a bad idea... Atlas Yes, my favorite. I like him so much and I am proud of the person he has become. The best character in the whole book. Atlas and Lily's relationship There were many cmts which said that their relationship didn't make any sense...that it was some teenage feelings going in there. But I dont think so. The paras in which Lily (when she was with Ryle) says that she is still in love with Atlas is endless. She even openly said this to Ryle that she still love Atlas. It's always been Atlas. Be it the tattoo, her being in Boston, the refrigerator magnet, how he went to find her but left when he saw that she was happy even when he was breaking from inside. There was a para (when she ends up with Atlas) in which she said that she hoped this to happen when she first met him at the restaurant. I am glad that she finally ends up with Atlas. I mean he and his and Lily's story was there for the most part of the story even when he was not the MC so it would be pretty cruel to leave him without giving him his ending.

1 extra star for 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙤𝙜𝙖𝙣, he deserves better. The story started off really good but the author destroyed this book in 3 ways. SPOILERS 𝟭 :- Completely changing the character of Grace after she becomes SOPHOMORE GRACE. I really liked Grace at the start and tried so hard to like the sophomore Grace but failed successfully. I do understand that the author wanted to show that Grace is now more confident about what she wants in her life, but it would've been good if the change was just minor, but here she literally became a new person. I really dont understand what was the problem with old Grace, she was already confident, it's just that she was more closed off. Logan needs someone like old Grace. Old Grace and Logan had chemistry but New Grace and Logan had zero chemistry. It felt as if Logan is the only one who is madly in love with Grace but sophomore Grace is not into him unlike the freshman Grace. 𝟮 :- About the mistake. First of all, Logan ended things with Grace for her. When he told Grace about him using her as a distraction, I understand why she became hurt and angry at first. But I desperately wanted Logan to make her understand that he actually didn't use her as a distraction but instead she became a distraction coz he liked spending time with her. And thats when it hit him that first, he needs to clear his head from Hannah before he leads Grace on. But this explanation never happened. And also, it was never serious for both of them from the start. None of them put forth the idea of dating, it was all in their mind. So I didn't like the way the story portrayed as if it's Logan's fault for not sleeping with Grace who is a virgin btw. Yes, it was not about the embarassmemt she felt (eventhough it was in her mind) instead she blames him for "using her as a distraction". But still the situation was not handled the right way when everything was just a huge misunderstanding. 𝟯 :- Another frustrating thing was towards the end. The whole thing about Logan, his brother Jeff and his father is very saddening. The night when Logan cleans his father and tucks him into bed and breaks down in front of Grace's father, he was emotionally depressed at that point. He needed someone to remove all that pain and I was eagerly waiting for Grace to come to know about this so that I could get a scene where she is giving him some comfort. But unfortunately it didn't happen. Sure my girl Gracie was concerned for him at first and he talked about how she didn't deserve him coz he may not be able to give her his time. Again, in this instance also, he is thinking about HER and him saying that she might breakup with him is coz he was not in a good place at that time, which made him to think about all the ills that is already there and that can happen in his life. He needed reassurance but instead our girl Grace becomes angry and storms out of the room, not before saying I love you and calling him a jackess. This whole scene was supposed to be about HIM not about HER. Sure its cute to read about all the lovey dovey things the Male MC does for the female MC but enough with all the grand gestures for Grace when its not even Logan's fault. But the book makes it appear to be his fault. Literally all the characters starts blaming Logan even, Logan himself. This situation was handled so hypocritically and bothered me a lot. Why is Logan the only one mending everything up when its not even his fault.?!?!
