I bought this book along with several others for my 2 year old when we were expecting our second child. I thought the book was about sharing. I saw that it was an international bestseller with raving reviews and overlooked the number of bad reviews.
This is, by far, the worst thing I've ever had to endure reading. The worst thing I've ever had to read to my son.
This is not about sharing. This feels like a beginner's guide to socialism?
Sharing is when you have an apple and you give half of it to your brother. When you have a toy and you take turns playing.
This book is not about sharing. This book is about stripping away a child's individuality and uniqueness so that every child becomes the same. This book is about making other children happy so you can be happy.
I've never been more disgusted by a book.
I've also never been happier throwing out a book.
