Thought it was good for a Friday night movie. Unique concept, did not think ending was going to be as it was. As a millennial, some scenes felt young to me, but overall, pretty entertaining.

What can I say? I guess I am a 50 cent fan. I had high standards for this show, which it exceeded. Although I never liked Kanan in Power because of his transformation of Tariq, I am obsessed with this spin off. I had no idea who Patrina Miller was before this show. First, she is stunningly gorgeous. Second, her acting skills, her style and her demeanor are incredible. I love how this show has a female lead who deals with problems men normally handle. It also sheds light on the dilemma women face trying to balance their career and children, albeit a drug dealing career. It also highlights how kids nowadays think they know it all, only to get in deeper problems with that kind of "know it all" attitude. Honestly, this is my favorite part of Sunday. Is 50 cent arrogant for making a show exclusively about him? Sure. Did he do a great job? Yes. I also love the cinematography and commitment to the early 90's. This show offers a lot of what Power could not give its audience. Really happy to see how this show progressed and can't wait to see how Kanan meets Ghost.

I really liked this season. I was skeptical since I loved Ghost and Tommy’s characters so much. This spin off has a strong storyline. I strangely feel sympathy for Tariq when I never thought it was possible. I feel bad for Tasha. I hate Saxe. As an attorney, I like the courtroom setting this season offers. There is a lot of sex, but power had way more. There’s a lot of hidden social issues in each episode. If you didn’t pick up on it, you’d think it was irrelevant or a waste. I enjoyed this spin off a lot more than I thought I would. Mary J kills her role and looks incredible too.
