The movie makes you feel forsure. Its moving and powerfu and it might not be for me,l but it explores a really perverse area of the mind. It makes you feel nothing good. Obsession, narcissicm, perversion, greed and lust. A movie without protagonists, only antagonists and makes you feel nothing good at any point, with no lessons other than have self respect and dont fall for shiny things. It also rides this toxic feminism wave where an alpha woman becomes empowered through the manipulation of really demasculated men. It portrays men as disgusting with the two men being either pathetic and simpy or gross and nacissistic. They pine over her even after she blatantly disregards their interests and shes painted as this goal driven woman that finds her magic through adversity even though she cheated on both of them multiple times. The movie kind of paints her as revolutionary because they bring it up and she ignores them as men have been painted in the 80s. Its horrendously toxic. Kind of makes the male audience want to resent women as I could imagine movies that have opposite roles make women resent men. All in all a movie has never made me feel like that though. Still thinking about it days later so that says something. If the goal was to make the viewer feel gross and hold resentment towards a number of things it did an overwhelmingly good job. A piece of art but in a disgusting dirty way. All in all I think it does nothing good for anyone.
