I'm pretty well over it at this point. It's been a fun ride, but the game for so many people has become "getting around censorship and safety measures" that it's just immeasurably cringey to play. Activision Blizzard's automated reporting methods are easily manipulated by a simple mass report, and the appeal process is just an automated "no". It's a tech giant that makes SO MUCH money that it makes absolutely no difference to them if a player quits in frustration at the toxic game culture, and honestly, why would it? It fits right in with their toxic office culture.
If you want to play a 20-year-old game with a toxic, gatekeeping 40-year-old fanbase, this is the game for you. Otherwise, steer clear.
