Wow… it was so bad that people walked out of the theater on opening day. I wasn't expecting a musical, and the shift in tone from movie 1 was jarring. I’d only recommend it if you’re really into musicals; otherwise, save yourself the time and money. The actors did a great job, and the cinematography and wardrobe were impressive, but the writing and plot were a disaster. Overall, a disappointing experience.
