This was an interesting movie. If you are spiritual, or practice any type of religion, you should be able to relate somehow. I'll admit, I was a bit confused as to the plot. I'm the type that like a story to come together and end with a meaning. So, I didn't read others reviews or the meaning of the movie until I watched it. Once I read the Directors meaning behind the movie it all made perfect sense to me! You really have to open your mind for Mother! And delve deeper into your 5 sense's to understand. I can't say it was an enjoyable movie, it's quite disturbing and you can't help but feel sorry for Mother!, And, as I watched the movie I was pissed at HIM most of the time, as it appears he was making his wife (Mother!) Go insane, or trying to! And then to know he was depicted to be GOD! How the suffering of a women, is never truly acknowledge, and then the man drives us insane, only to start over again! See, just that fast, my thoughts took me in another direction with Mother! It is truly a thought provoking film to watch! Over all I'll give it a 4 stars, for the stellar cast, I enjoyed seeing my girl Michelle P. She is always pleasantly calm, but interesting to watch, and for the overall meaning behind the film! Kudos!!
