Is it a perfect movie? Naaah. Does it have riveting thespian performances? of course not. It's not even an excellently made movie. But is it a fun movie? Oh Hell yes. Does it entertain you every single frame ? Absolutely. Gory as 300/ Game of thrones. Curses like a Tarantino flick. Wittily funny with some amazing throwbacks to Home Alone. This is absolutely the best Christmas movie I have ever seen.

I'll make it short and simple. This is the most realistic, tight, and detailed spy thriller out there. Down to earth action and characters. Please don't go in expecting James Bond or Jason Bourne type stuff. This is bloody, raw and expertly narrated espionage fiction. There is nothing done for the sake of style or swag, everything is there to support the story and the story is king. Also pretty darn good acting. The only thing that kinda drags it down is the in your face nationalistic chest thumping. Could tone down the 'YAY AMERICA' a couple of notches.

A little hidden gem of a movie. Good on style and story. Don't expect award worthy performances or thought provoking content. A plain good old fun action thriller.
