This is probably one of my most hated films, right after Tall Girl and right before Frenemies. I loved the first film, which is by far my favorite, the second was really good, but the third in my opinion was just okay. Now we're stuck with two little kids who's voices are higher than the person who created the concept of the movie. This then again is way better then the monstrosity of Mission Critical. The whole time travel thing is confusing, and not well planned out, we barely get to see of the classic sibling bantering of Carmen and Juni. This could have been okay, if they had direct relation to Carmen and Juni, like if they were cousins who didn't see each other often because of one mission that ruined their (Carmen and Juni) entire relationship and often saw each other in the ways their parents described the other. Then they would have to work together to get Carmen and Juni back on speaking terms in order to stop someone from doing something I don't know. But then again, there is so much wrong with this movie, like even the names of the main characters. Why Cecil?! Anyway, this movie was super cheesy, has gross moments but I guess this is a good movie for families to watch at the end of the day. I guess since this is made for a younger and newer generation so I really miss the darker undertones of the original movies. There are some moments that are kind of maybe sorta worth watching, like the anagram and how Cecil's hearing aids finally puts the movie in motion. And how there are so many versions of the villain guy is really annoying, but they don't even have to stop him anymore. He learns his lesson and everyone is just supposed to accept that?! No, just no.

I loved the series and read it twice, but then I watched this a little later. To describe this movie, they threw all the elements, humor, and action into a paper shredder and then arranged the scraps after attacking them with a pair of blunt scissors. I totally understand that there are some things that real people don't have and they can't be identical to fictional characters. In the second movie, Annabeth did have her blonde hair, but I have many more complaints. They decided to throw away the fact that they're kids, but rather teenagers doing all of this. It may be better to look at, but that's really annoying. The actors they cast as gods really bothered me because they have the power to look like anything, but they chose that?! The creators of this movie had a lot of work ahead of them, so they should've done a little better. Then at the end, Luke and Percy have a huge battle, which in the time frame of the movie, we were supposed to believe that was 10 minutes?! Overall, if this was VERY loosley based of the series, or it's own thing entirely, maybe it would've done a lot better. But since we knew what to expect, this was a huge let down and I wish that the new Disney+ series will stick better to the source material.

This series was incredibly well done. The characters seemed real, they shined a light on under represented kids like children who are transgender, and was overall a really cute show
