This game is SO much fun for people like me who enjoyed Mario and Luigi games (when are they coming back???) and Yoshi games. This game, once you’re a few hours in, is more challenging than Yoshi games in that collectibles are harder to find, but have the wit and fun of the M&L games (even tho they’re not the same creators or writers afaik). I often audibly laugh at what the toads say when you save them. The game is easy to relax while playing, it is thoroughly enjoyable to explore and whack things with the hammer. My only gripe was the battle system but now that I’m farther in the game and it’s more of a challenge I’m starting to appreciate it more. I am SO happy I got this game even though people were complaining about it. It feels like playing the N64 again for the first time. Absolutely enjoyable.

One of the best-feeling games ever, that meets nostalgia and modern, that keeps you going and collecting but also lets you just play the game if that's what you want to do. Tells a great, relatable story about anxiety and pushing yourself to be better. I absolutely adore this game.
