Three hours of my life that I won't get back. Never read or watched this famous story before, but I wish I'd just read the plot on the wiki page. Too much meaningless soppy dialogue, long pauses without dialogue, it tried just too hard to be atmospheric and emotional which just murders it for us fellas. Spent much of the programmes making brews, fetching more snacks, checking emails etc and generally being bored waiting for some relevant action to take place. You really wouldn't think it was directed by a man, so it makes me wonder how much the producer affected the end result!
