Nothing can do justice to Miller’s unbelievable ability to tell nuances, powerful and bewitching stories. Though only short, this is an excellent methadone for those bewitched by her other works. Galatea made me truly smile, cry and and fall all the more hopelessly in love with its author’s talents. In my humble opinion, no one can hold a candle to the enormous talent that is Madeline Miller.
