Mediocre script supported by distracting CGI throughout. Good for a film about friends searching for each other, but not a good film about the events portrayed. While the producers acknowledge in the script that the CGI and use of it can be disrespectful, they probably don't realise that the script and direction are equally to blame. I would hesitate before saying the film trivialises the very plot it seeks to explore, but it is all underwhelming with scenes that were clearly written to show contentious decisions, but fail to convey the genuine difficulty and gravity of those situations.
