The movie has everything that is needed to brand a film a classic. It's a story of hope, and how human resolve can be stretched beyond the elastic limit and still stays unbreakable. Everything from the writing to directing and editing was done such that the passage of time only makes it better.

If Mr. Bong Joon-ho was American, the praises would never end but he is South Korean. This man is a brilliant filmmaker. This movie is a masterpiece. Some Oscar-winning American movies are laughable when you compare them to this one.
