Oppressed and traumatized by the apathy of the society,the joker finds solace in violence through which he retaliates for injustice done to him.The validation of his actions by the mass makes him come to terms with his violence without any compunction.You watch him descend into complex mental frame with compassion. Incredibly brilliant performance by the actor.

The direction and screenplay screwed the flow of the narrative.Nothing could keep you interested in this film.Out and out disaster.
