Lift is less articulate knock off ....of the Italian Job. Hart's performance is average at best and his transition to more serious roles may still require convincing. The movie has a good cast but the "thick as thieves family" angle lacked authenticity and was unconvincing. It's worth a watch if you're out of options on a Monday night but the overall plot misses both the comedy and action genre's. It's a mishap that should leave a short lasting impression in audiences minds.

I think the Danny combination takes away from the comedic greatness produced in the prequel. All in all an ok watch but lacks the magic of first movie. A miss for me
