It's a disgusting attempt to cash-in on the popularity of Pu La. It's nothing short of his character assassination. It shows him as a self centric, mannerless joker only interested in liquor and cigarettes. Mahesh Manjrekar has brought an icon down to his own cheap level. Watching this z grade movie will be an injustice to Pu La. Instead we will be better off listening to his videos on YouTube and reading his books to understand the great personality that he was. Manjrekar has painted other legends like Vasantrao Deshpande and Bhimsen Joshi also in a very poor light. I feel like taking him to court for defamation of Maharashtrian idols
