Anna Hwang Colligan

A silly and shallow movie, reading like a checklist of upper-middle-class American anxieties (including airbnb problems, one's teeth falling out, and - Deer (!)), and showcasing a generally pessimistic view of human nature. Lots of scary music and twisting camera views are substituted for any valuable thought or insight. Mahershala Ali's character is the only ray of light. Don't waste your time, unless you want a laugh at the Tesla and absolutely absurd deer scenes. I'm surprised the A-list stars and the Obamas got behind this one.
