I actually loved it but from beginning you new the plot of the story. But as you watch you learn what it's like from the daughter's eyes. Kit's acting is on point and better than ever. It's slow but when you've finished it you understand why.... and it's not about alcohol or abuse... you never once see Kit drunk. To the person who wrote the review beneath me, I too am a major horror/thriller buff. The whole story is about a family curse. You do see the werewolf a few times. The whole cast was great! The daughter is reading The Beast Within: Beauty's story of her prince. Again to the guy below, research, again to the guy below.

This movie is best explained on Wikipedia. It is a very intense movie where the saying a wolf in sheep's clothing is exactly accurate. Guy Pearce does an outstanding job at making The Minister exactly what he truly is. This has to be one of the best performances by Dakota Fanning next to The Alienist. I can't put into words all the feelings this movie will put you thru. It is a must watch!

If you've ever studied psychology like I did, towards the end it all makes sense. Problem was 1. The room you watch in needs to be completely dark. 2. You get motion sickness with the 1st person constant point of view. 3. The uncle seems pervertingly awkward around Sarah (Elizabeth Olsen). 4. I didn't see the little girl when she first claimed to see her on the roadside. 5. To make a female so incapable of defending herself (pick up a tool to fight with, ect. is unreal). What makes it a worthwhile watch is Elizabeth Olsen's acting and the ending itself. Sorry I don't give spilers when I write reviews. Hope this helps!
