The nostalgia of 1963 era was great. Watching the old cars and snacks from that era was cool. I liked the riot towards the end that was made to resemble the 1/6 insurrection. That was really neat. All the character actors and comedians popping up throughout the movie was cool. Post and Kellogg’s fight for the invention of the pop tart was fun to watch. All in all a fun movie to watch and could possibly become the next big cult movie along side Killer Clowns, Rocky Horror, Wizard of Oz, to name just a few cult big boys. This could possibly follow suit.

The Troll itself was great. I wasn’t too excited about the storyline. They made it too complicated to understand when they could have made it much simpler to follow the narrative. The troll wakes up from a long slumber and goes looking for his kids. Once he finds their bones he knows they’re dead and he goes on a rampage looking for the ones who destroyed them. I mean, he dies in the end so why not make him into a bad guy. Something you are looking forward to his demise. A monstertale not a fairytale.
