You can cut out half this movie and it would be all the better for it. The movie suffers from two plots fighting each other to create a cohesive story. The death of Charles Deetz and a wedding proposal during a funeral, with Beetlejuice having a jealous ex girlfriend. Monica Bellucci is great as Delores, but ultimately is underused and thrown away in the end. And there is Michael Keaton himself.. who is the obvious highlight of the movie but again, is more used as a comedic break from the other plot.
