This book is encouraging and practical. It is short and to the point. Gives realistic expectations and practical reflection exercises. It’s absolutely hard to put down. It’s specifically for pastors in congregations. However, I find that it is a good resource for chaplains as well. It gives hope, realistic expectations. It is not cheesy Christianity. Whether you are new or experienced in ministry this book reminds you of your calling and a way to move forward.
