Between heavy use of CGI and flat characters and storyline, the movie is an outright disappointment. Compare this sequel to Top Gun Maverick, another sequel after more than two decades, and you appreciate the difference between something fulfilling and something distasteful

Disappointed in direction of the movie. It’s touted as an aerial combat movie but becomes a wet noodle drama. I’m glad I didn’t pay to see it.
