Okami Rosa

I started this show with high hopes, and was pretty disappointed to say the least. At first it gets your attention with the weird neighborhood and gives you an immediate feeling of, “well this is weird.” However, after the first couple episodes of some plot building and running around it gets boring. The characters are repeatedly being stupid and making cliche mistakes that annoy you to the point of not even wanting to watch. The actual zombie/virus part of it I felt was just thrown in occasionally and then forgotten to force some suspense while the most part of it was just teenage drama that made the main characters extremely unlikeable. It also switches between past and present way too much. There was also a lot of major plot confusion and too many conveniences. Overall, it had me bored after the first 4 episodes and the ending was disappointing. Makeup and camera work is average. Very much not like the actual Resident Evil games, it does not give you the same thrill whatsoever.

An amazing and suspenseful movie. It makes you feel so many emotions throughout it and has some minor details that truly make it come together. There is a few jumpscares but to me it was mostly psychological. I am also insanely impressed with the intro scene. It makes the viewer anticipate what is to come and definitely makes the atmosphere and feel of the movie known. It made me hyped up for what was to come and honestly made me and my friends impressed. While some of the shots can look a bit weird, I think they can be quickly overlooked since you get emersed in the story. I loved it.
