Superb performances. Gentle and, not easy to see these days, smart. Loved everything about it.

Why 3 stars? Briliant performances. Giant talent. Breathtaking scenes. The feeling of "rushed end" left me in pause. Considering that movie is 2+ hours long I was left with feeling of "and?". I needed something, something to make it complete. The story is known, the performances are beyond briliant, yet I feel that something is missing. Especially at the end of the movie. As much as I enjoyed watching such great actors in their absolute best I was left "empty". That's why 3 stars.

The movie critics are in my opinion to harsh. Some disected this movie, scene by scene, unnecessary. The movie could have been "heavy" and emotionally draining and still to fail to show what was all really about. I prefer this approach where you learn about sad fate of young man and the journey of his spiritual growth and dedication. Kudos to make up team.

The most boring movie I saw in a long long time. Too bad such a great actors wasted their names accepting roles lady Gaga is way too talented which she couldn't show in this movie. Not to mention the others.
