This movie was a financial failure because it is too real: no one wants to acknowledge how really dark our dark, dark, dark side is. I take my hat off to Mr. Russell for being honest and brave enough to tread where few dare. It should be placed in the same class as The Passion of Christ, Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, etc.
