Ye Boiii

Most fun I've had listening to an album in a while. It's essentially Dream Theater musically saying "We're going to be as dream theatery as possible and if you don't like it we don't care." The production and mixing is top level, the drums and the bass have a solid presence and don't get buried under everything else that's happening which has been a challenge of some of their previuous albums. Every member of the band shines, especially Mike Mangini he's just on fire throughout this album. My only real critique would be the placement of a few of the tracks, Awaken The Master playing after Transcending Time was a bit of a weird/funny transition. I would have swapped those two around on their track numbers and had Transcending time lead up to that epic title track.
