Clare Alohi

I started getting irritated at the constant messaging on devices, especially between Emma and Matt. We’d watch as the message was composed. Then it would be received, rehashed and read with tears from both. Over and over again. The daughter and her issues started to really grate on me as tangential. I guess it was more of an emotional family drama than an exciting space sci-fi, as others have said. This show was stressful, not the thrilling kind, the kind that makes you annoyed and grumpy. The sincere messaging moments were just not believable, the affection wasn’t conveyed. I skipped through the earthbound dialogues after awhile to get back to the mission.
