*Spoiler-free*
Ewan delivers a spectacular performance, unfortunately no one else does. The writing is convoluted, the villains are laughable inept, and they display the same creative choices that were the main drawbacks in Season 1 Mandalorian. (cant say more otherwise it would possibly spoil)
There is and always was going to be very little tension for the climax, as we know that nearly all the main characters live to die in a later movie.
The writers and directors prove, yet again, that they dont know star wars as well as the fans, and go too far out of their way to make moments happen; rather than letting a story unfold naturally. This, paired with little understanding of the Force are some of the biggest problems with storytelling in modern star wars and this series does not deviate from those flaws.
Still worth the watch, but I foresee many people not wanting to rewatch this as much as other SW content.
To simulate watching the series, violently shake your screen while reading this.
