One of the most beautifully written stories. Plot can be a little confusing at first, but one of the cinematic masterpieces when you understand the whole concept. Example: Heptapods can solve complex problems but can't solve algebra. Algebra generally requires sequential steps, which cannot be understood by Heptapods since they do not understand forward or backward flow of time. Also the moment you realise that the flashbacks are actually visions from the future 👏 Would love to see why they need help from humans in a sequel though. People who have rated this movie one star need to re-watch and understand the movie again. For once, we have a SciFi movie where aliens aren't shooting us.
