Terrible, wholly do not recommend. Absolute absence of content

Unengaging first episode. Very very dull. Absolutely nothing about the first episode has encouraged me to watch a second episode. It was an arduous task to finish the opener. Very disappointed. I loved the Golden Compass film. I was genuinely upset when I found that there was to be no follow up. Then elated when I found out the Beeb were making this. It's just style over substance though. Kind of like Harry Potter with the contrast turned down. That first episode was dragged out and slow. There's more suspense from Country File.
